Desiccant Bags also called Silica Gel Sachets

Silica gel sachets or Desiccant bags provide an economic and effective way of protecting against moisture damage during transit and or storage. The bags/sachets are filled with non-indicating beaded silica gel desiccant.

The protection against moisture is achieved by placing a Silica Gel Sachet inside a box or suitable container and sealing them inside with the items to be protected i.e. a polythene bag or moving / storage box.

The appropriate sized silica gel sachet / desiccant bag should be used for the size of the box or container. We stock 25 gram, 50 gram and 100 gram silica gel sachets. The silica gel protects for a period of approximately 12 months.

Desiccant bags or Silica Gel Sachets can be used for protecting electronic equipment, cameras, tools, computers, musical instruments, preservation packaging and all humidity sensitive products.

A 25 gram sachet of Silica Gel (Desiccant). Ideal for one of our small storage boxes or our CD/DVD boxes.

A 50 gram sachet of Silica Gel (Desiccant). Ideal for one of our medium storage boxes or our Archive boxes.

A 100 gram sachet of Silica Gel (Desiccant). Ideal for one of our large storage boxes.
